Donald Simon Colford, husband of Lynn (Warren) Colford of Howard Road NB, passed away Tuesday June 29, 2021, at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 67.

Born in Howards NB, he was the son of the late Charles and Annie (Dunn) Colford. He was a woods worker and a guide for Blackville Brook Salmon Club for the last 30 years.. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Howards NB.

Besides his wife Lynn, he is survived by one daughter Mallory Colford (Kevin) at home, two sons, Donnie Colford (Taylor) of Blackville and Joey Colford (Taylor) of Howards, four sisters, Anna Buckley of Miramichi, Regina Colford of Miramichi, Loretta Colford (Evan) of Woodstock and Ursula Hogan (Bernard) of Blackville, three brothers, John Colford (Cindy) of Carroll’s Crossing, Norman Colford (Bernice) of Miramichi and Michael Colford of Bay Du Vin, six grandchildren, Jasmine, Lydia, Erin, Charlie, Maverick and Lincoln.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Barry, Thomas, and Cletus and one sister Bernadette.

Donald Simon Colford is resting at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, Blackville, with a public visitation on Thursday from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. A private family Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 2nd at 11 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, with Father Dan Bastarache officiating. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Cemetery, Howards.
