Marcel J. Robichaud, husband of Catherine Robichaud of Miramichi, formerly of Tilly Road, Beaverbrook NB, passed away Friday February 5, 2021 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 79.

Born in Newcastle NB, he was the son of the late Walter and Eloise (Daigle) Robichaud. He was retried from Heath Steele Mines and a member of L’Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Beaverbrook.

Besides his wife Catherine, he is survived by one daughter Louise Doiron of Bellefond, three step daughters, Linda Marie Marsh of Miramichi, Cindy Nadine Trevors of Miramichi and Muriel Power of Miramichi, two sons, Roland (Jackie) of Bellefond and Mark (Chrisy) of Bellefond, two sisters, Sylvia Savoie (Raymond) of Miramichi, Lea Preston (Charles) of Miramichi, two brothers, Roger (Julianne) of Bellefond and Gerald of Bellefond, five grandchildren, eight step grandchildren and numerous step great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister Anita Brown.

Marcel J. Robichaud is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Private Family Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday February 8, 2021 at 11 a.m. at L’Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Beaverbrook with Father John Keoughan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery later in the spring.
