Gerard Henri Morris husband of the late Thérèse (Doiron) Morris of Beaverbrook Road, Beaverbrook NB, passed away Sunday December 6, 2020 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 80.

Born in Robertville NB, he was the son of the late Gerard and Marie-Rose Haché. He was retired from Heath Steele Mines and a member of the L’Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Beaverbrook.

He is survived by four daughters; Jeanne Richard (William) of Bellefond, Gabriélle MacKnight (Adrien Durelle) of Gardiner Point, Mina Furlong (Dan Smith) of Moncton and Yvette Morris of Beaverbrook, three sons; Henry Morris of Beaverbrook, Norman Morris (Marie) of Moncton and Edgar Morris (Jeanne) of Beaverbrook, five sisters; Melanie Goyette of Beresford, Marie-Rose Boudreau of Petit Rocher, Lydia Gallant (Normand) of Petit Rocher, Emilia Savoie (Fabien) of Dunlop and Leona Belanger (Leo) of Regina Saskatchewan, two brothers; Joseph Morris of Beaverbrook and Yvon Morris (Yvonne) of Beaverbrook, seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Besides his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by five sisters, Marie Blanche, Patricia, Yolande, Marie and Bertha, five brothers, Léo Paul, Emilien, Raymond, Richard and Leo.

Gerard Henri Morris is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday December 10, 2020 at 11 a.m. at L’Ascension Roman catholic Church, Beaverbrook, with Father Paul LeBlanc officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date.
