Veronica Connolly- Furlotte, wife of Allison Furlotte of Lloyd Road, Miramichi, formerly of Coady Street, Nelson Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at the age of 83.

Born in North West Bridge, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Agnes (McLean) Walsh.

She was a homemaker and a member of Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, member of Senior Citizens Friendship Club, member of Sister Associates and a member of Saint Mary’s Graduating Class of 1956.

Besides her husband Allison, she is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Robertson (David) of Nelson, Ethel MacPherson (George) of Nelson, two sons, Philip Connolly (Cathy) of Nelson and George Connolly of Nelson, two sisters, Leone Walsh of Miramichi and Phyllis Waterbury of Miramichi, two brothers, James Walsh (Margaret) of Miramichi and Barry Walsh (Pam) of Miramichi, eleven grandchildren, Shilo, Mandy, Desmond, Melanie, Tanya, Michael, Joska, Anya, Jessica, Amber and Allison, fifteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and her 1st husband George Connolly, she was predeceased by two sons, Allan Connolly and Derrick Connolly, one daughter, Monica Connolly, five sisters, Laurine, Ethel, Nora, Patsy and Mary Agnes and five brothers, Philip, Denis, Jude, Andy and Terry.

Veronica Connolly-Furlotte is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Highway, Miramichi, with visitation on Monday, November 30, 2020, from 3 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday December 1, 2020, at 11 am at Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, with Father Anthony Dass Papu officiating, assisted by Father John Keoughan.

Burial will follow in the family plot of the church cemetery.

Please note: Social Distancing and Wearing of Mask are mandatory.
