Frederick Edward MacDonald, husband of Fsumayrqan “Sam” MacDonald of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at the age of 71.

Born in Newcastle, he was the son of the late Raymond and Lorraine (Cox) MacDonald. He was a CP Rail Traffic Control for 38 years and a member of the United Church.

He is survived by his husband Fsumayrqan “Sam”; his sisters, Leslie Greene (Jerry) of Lower Derby and Catherine “Kitty” MacDonald of Nelson; his brothers, Ambrose MacDonald (late Dorothy) of Nelson, William “Billy” MacDonald of Nelson, Raymond Alexander “Sandy” MacDonald of Newcastle and Bert MacDonald (Wendy) of Nelson; his nieces, Tammy Greene, Kathy Savard, Tina Jardine and Kaitlyn MacDonald; his nephews, Robert Greene and Gregory MacDonald and his great nieces and nephews, Sidney and Reno Jardine, Ireland and Eli Greene and Deseray and Daria Savard.

He was predeceased by parents and grandparents (Isabelle) “Granny Belle”.

At the request of the family there will be no Visitation or Funeral Service.
